Understanding and Building Theoretical and Conceptual Frameworks — and Applying Them to Data.

This intensive one-day workshop is for qualitative researchers who need to understand, build, and apply theoretical and conceptual frameworks with clarity and confidence. The morning establishes foundations — what makes a framework, the difference between theoretical and conceptual frameworks, and how they show up across your study. The afternoon moves into construction: build your own conceptual framework from your data or literature, identify key domains and tenets, create a visual metaphor, and apply your framework to analyze real text. You'll leave with a framework you built yourself — one you can articulate and defend. Spots are limited and fill up fast.
