All proceeds will go to the creation of a non-profit that will provide funding for the scholarship of multiply-minoritized graduate students and faculty to do their purpose-driven work without fragmenting themselves.
The Why

The Curriculum
We will open the first day with intention setting for the retreat, get to know each other first. Then we will engage in a narrative analysis workshop guided by Dr. Bhattacharya. You will get a chance to apply what you have learned immediately to your own data set, or a data set provided by Dr. Bhattacharya. Finally we would conclude the day with what rose for you, questions, insight, and community building.
On the second day, we will start with a revisiting of our intentions, and engage in a contemplative practice. Then we will engage in an inductive analysis workshop guided by Dr. Bhattacharya. You will get a chance to apply what you have learned immediately to your own data set, or a data set provided by Dr. Bhattacharya. Finally we would conclude the day with what rose for you, questions, insight, and community building.
On the final day, we will start with a revisiting of our intentions, and engage in a contemplative practice. Then we will engage in a representing qualitative research workshop guided by Dr. Bhattacharya. You will get a chance to apply what you have learned immediately to your own analysis thus far. Finally we would conclude the day with what rose for you, questions, insight, and community building and next steps.
