High-Touch Mentoring for Scholars, Writers, and Purpose-Driven Professionals

This is a rare, high-contact mentoring container for those at a threshold—navigating complex writing projects, critical career decisions, or internal blocks that can no longer be pushed aside.

Designed for scholars, writers, researchers, and thought-leaders, this three-month engagement offers structured, relationally grounded support. You bring the material. We meet it together—directly, honestly, and without pretense.

What’s Included

  • Three 60-minute 1:1 consulting sessions
  • One 30-minute preparation call to clarify goals and scope
  • One 30-minute integration call to reflect, synthesize, and map next steps
  • Up to 10 pages of material per session, read and engaged with live during each session
  • Unlimited email support throughout the three-month period for continued momentum and check-ins

This is not asynchronous feedback. There is no pre-reading. Your work is engaged in real time, with full presence and care.

You Might Use This To:

  • Complete a stalled or overdue writing project
  • Revise a journal article or book chapter for resubmission
  • Craft responses to Reviewer 2 with strategic clarity and integrity
  • Work through writer’s block, overwhelm, or internal collapse
  • Interrupt cycles of self-doubt or imposter syndrome
  • Prepare for tenure, promotion, or job market review
  • Clarify or shift direction in a career pivot or transition
  • Re-align your scholarship with your values—without abandoning either

This space is structured to meet what is most alive and most stuck—at once.

Dr. Veena Balsawer

Independent Researcher

The best thing that I gained from working with Dr. Bhattacharya is hope after feeling lost and aimless for some years. I now know what papers I need to publish from my dissertation and how, and I am feeling more energized than I ever did in my earlier academic career. I have learned to be me again and proud of my achievements.

Dr. Nicole Corley

Assistant Professor

Our conversation helped in that way and, of course, just your vast knowledge of qualitative inquiry and methodology. I’m always floored. When I see women of color academics own their power, walk and talk confidently, and yet are still humble, it’s a reminder that I can be my whole self in this space.

Dr. Kakali Bhattacharya

Dr. Kakali Bhattacharya is an award-winning scholar, methodological innovator, and sought-after mentor with over 20 years of experience in qualitative research, critical methodologies, and trauma-informed scholarly practice. She is known for building research and mentoring architectures that honor sovereignty, depth, and structural clarity.
