Meet the Convergent AI Consortium (CAIC)
If today's workshop resonated with you, you're not alone. Many people are rethinking their relationship with AI right now - questions about data practices, political partnerships, academic integrity, and the long-term direction of these technologies are becoming harder to ignore.
Whatever your reason for reconsidering the tools you use, it’s valid.
CAIC is a community for people who want to engage AI critically, thoughtfully, and collaboratively. We don't just use these tools—we examine them, question them, and build practices that protect our values while expanding what’s possible.
Have your CAIC and think with it too.

Meet the Founder of CAIC
Dr. Kakali Bhattacharya
I'm Dr. Kakali Bhattacharya
Dr. Kakali Bhattacharya is an award-winning professor, researcher, and educator with more than 20 years of experience in critical inquiry, ethics, and interdisciplinary scholarship. Her work explores how emerging technologies intersect with human values, intellectual agency, and community.
Rather than approaching AI as a tool for shortcuts or automation alone, she engages it as a space for thoughtful dialogue, ethical reflection, and collaborative learning.
The Convergent AI Consortium (CAIC) grew from this approach — a community where scholars, practitioners, and curious thinkers gather to critically explore AI together.
Inside CAIC, members examine questions such as:
• How do we work with AI without outsourcing our thinking?
• What ethical responsibilities come with these technologies?
• How can interdisciplinary perspectives shape the future of AI?
CAIC is not a hype-driven tech space. It is a thoughtful community for people who want to think with AI — not simply use it.
Confidence: High
My Approach: "I'm not here to make you an AI enthusiast. I'm here to give you independent choice over how you engage with these tools. No hype. No shame. Just clear understanding for YOUR journey."
